Dear Lucia,
Happy five month birthday! What a gift this month has been, and we have so enjoyed having the opportunity to watch you grow and flourish. It has been another full month, with so many exciting things to celebrate including your Dad's birthday, Christmas, New Years, new babies and every other day in between.
Your eyes sparkle when you smile, and you love to giggle and scream whenever the mood strikes.
You have been so eagerly learning to sit up, and it is adorable to watch your face light up when you "sit" in the boppee or bouncer.
Another big development this month is your ability to roll over and push yourself up with your strong arms and neck. You love rolling around on the floor with your brother, and the new perspective afforded by your upright position.
Your facial expressions continue to amaze us...I find myself frequently giggling at the silly faces you make...from your old man expression to your happily surprised look below, you have already mastered the art of expression.
You are so curious about the world around you and are fascinated by sounds, music, faces and fun textures such as the feathers from your dream catcher.
We spent a weekend in Reno celebrating my friend Catherine's soon to be baby boy, and you loved all of the people watching and extra attention. You are quite the little traveler and have been an amazing traveling companion now on several fun trips with Mom.
